Show #138 – #pickleballcurious – On this month’s Trail Show special guest and Trail Show 5th Chair, Liz “Snorkel” Thomas joins us to talk bison tacos, firewood delivery, and hiking SoCal’s Trans Catalina Trail, POD discusses airport races, poorly led hunting trips, and Olympic beer sponsors, OOO does another marathon, Jim Blodget is mentioned, El Hikador resurfaces, spoons with holes are considered, D-Low does not ski in the rain, F-Ing Lettuce calls in, and Disco contemplates edible capsaicin. Hiking while Cold is strategized and we do not mention the Florida Trail during Ask-A-Hiker.

Show #109 – #sobolife – On this month’s Trail Show we enjoy the dog days of summer with D-Low explaining the finer points of tofu and plant based meats, Colorado’s 14ers are contemplated, special guest Liz “Snorkel” Thomas joins us to talk about hiking the Snowdonia Way in Wales while reading a guidebook backwards, we remember trails from days past, Spesh raises money for his upcoming Mars hike, POD enjoys salt on salads but cannot drive 55, paper towels are lamented, a donor raised $3.25 for the show, historical trash is categorized, moors vs heaths are pondered, we learn about tree eating sheep, OOO has too much carbonation, Disco talks poop bags after we get a crucial anonymous tip, rooftop tents are considered, and the future of thru-hikes during western wildfires causes grimaces. D-Low takes the Ask-A-Hiker reins and our monthly donors are held high.
